John Deveau

As a member of the Deveau Realty Team, John and his wife Jihye provide buyers and sellers with a suite of services, from market and pricing strategy to contract and repair negotiation. John is a native Houstonian of more than 35 years and has lived and invested in real estate all over Houston. Growing up in a home where his father was a remodeling contractor, John learned the ins-and-outs of quality construction through hands-on experience at a young age. After the 2009 recession, John became very active in real estate investing, investing in single-family homes, lots, townhomes, multi-family and commercial properties. Given that many of his friends were reaching out to him for real estate advice, getting his real estate license in 2016 was a natural fit.

John is a CPA, has an MBA from Rice University, and a successful professional background in Big 4 audit and M&A, and executive roles at two manufacturing companies. His professional background, coupled with his hands-on real estate experience, enables him to provide valuable advice to clients in a real estate transaction.
